Celebrating Omega's legacy in space exploration, the "Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon" features a 44.25mm polished and brushed black ceramic case. The bezel, also made of black ceramic with a polished finish, includes a Liquidmetal™ tachymetric scale. The dial, covered by a sapphire crystal, is ceramic with a laser sandblasted finish. It displays a small seconds at 9 o'clock and a 60-minute and 12-hour counter at 3 o'clock. The hour and minute hands, along with the angled indices, are all in black, coated with black Super-LumiNova (glowing green). The central chronograph hand is adorned with striking red lacquer. Visible through the case back is the Omega manual-winding Co-Axial Master Chronometer Caliber 9908, featuring a special "Black Edition" finish with a matte black base plate and bridges, and black lacquered engraving. It is paired with a black rubber strap featuring a lunar pattern on the underside. The watch comes with a ceramic folding clasp and a ceramicized titanium frame spring holder.
