Celebrating Omega's legacy in space exploration, the "Speedmaster Gray Side of the Moon" features a 44.25mm polished and brushed gray ceramic case with a plasma finish. The brushed bezel is also made of gray ceramic, adorned with a tachymetric scale in laser engraving and coated with white Super-LumiNova. Under the sapphire crystal lies a movement decorated to honor Omega's connection to the moon, showcasing a lunar pattern on the main plate and bridges. The front of the moon is visible through a gray anodized aluminum skeleton dial, while the back can be viewed through the case back. The layout includes a small seconds at 9 o'clock, a 30-minute counter at 3 o'clock, and a 12-hour counter at 6 o'clock. All hands and angled indices are gray, coated with white Super-LumiNova (glowing green). It is powered by the specially decorated Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Caliber 3869. The case back is engraved with the words "THE MOON IS ESSENTIALLY GREY," spoken by Apollo 8 mission command module pilot Jim Lovell. It comes with a ceramic folding clasp and a ceramic titanium frame spring holder, finished with a gray nylon strap lined with black rubber.
