| The "Omega Speedmaster" is one of Omega's representative timepieces that was carried on six lunar landing missions. The "Blue Side of the Moon," as the name suggests, is inspired by the color of the dark blue sky. The 44.25 mm blue ceramic case features a blue ceramic bezel ring with a tachymetric scale using Omega's Sedna Gold™ technology. The strap is made of blue leather and comes with a folding clasp made of blue ceramic and ceramic-treated titanium. This model, with a blue aventurine glass dial and vibrant 18K Sedna™ gold indices and hands, also includes a red-tipped date hand. The moon phase at 6 o'clock is adorned with a blue enamel aventurine glass moon phase disc (patent pending) depicting the front and back of the moon in Sedna™ gold. It is powered by the Omega Master Chronometer Caliber 9904, which boasts the highest industry standards certified by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS). | |
