| As part of the "Five Deeps Expedition" conducted in 2019, the "Ultra Deep" reached the deepest part of the Earth, making history. Following this world record in diving, an innovative watch was added to a unique collection and made available to the general market. During development, this design was tested under actual ocean conditions and features water resistance up to a depth of 6,000m (20,000 feet), complying with ISO 6425:2018 for diver's watches. The robust 45.5 mm O-MEGASTEEL model is equipped with a polished orange ceramic bezel and a diving scale made of liquid ceramic coated with Super-LumiNova. Through the domed sapphire crystal glass, the lacquer-finished gradient dial transitions from grey to black, adorned with four orange Arabic numerals, 18K white gold hands, and indices, all coated with white Super-LumiNova. The rubber strap features orange lining and an O-MEGASTEEL buckle, while the grade 5 titanium medallion on the case back is engraved with the iconic central seahorse of Omega along with the sonar emblem. The movement housed is the Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Caliber 8912. | |
