| As part of the "Five Deeps Expedition" conducted in 2019, the "Ultra Deep" reached the deepest part of the Earth, making history. Following this world record in diving, an innovative watch was added to a unique collection and made available to the general market. During development, this design was tested under actual ocean conditions and features water resistance up to 6,000m (20,000 feet), complying with ISO 6425:2018 for diver's watches. The robust 45.5 mm O-MEGASTEEL model is equipped with a polished blue ceramic bezel and a white enamel diving scale. Through the domed sapphire crystal glass, the lacquer-finished white dial features four blue Arabic numerals, hands, and indices made of 18K white gold, all coated with white Super-LumiNova. The rubber strap has blue lining and an O-MEGASTEEL buckle, while the grade 5 titanium medallion on the case back is engraved with the central seahorse symbolizing Omega, along with the sonar emblem. The movement housed is the Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Caliber 8912. | |
