| "Seamaster Planet Ocean Master Chronometer" In 2005, Omega launched the "Planet Ocean" collection, keeping in mind its deep relationship with the sea. The stylish "Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Master Chronometer Chronograph" is a collection that rightfully inherits the DNA of the diver's watches that Omega has built over the years. It features a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass. The dial is made of blue ceramic and includes Arabic numeral displays and a date window at the 3 o'clock position. The dial also includes a small seconds sub-dial and 60-minute and 12-hour counters for instant reading of elapsed time. The 45.5mm case is made of 18K Sedna gold and features a blue ceramic unidirectional diving bezel with a diving scale set in ceramic using Omega's Ceragold technology. It also features a screw-in case back with a wave pattern and a blue leather strap with a rubber lining. It has a water resistance of 60 bar (600m/2000 feet) and comes with a helium escape valve. At the heart of this timepiece is the Omega Master Chronometer Caliber 9900, which can be viewed through the transparent case back. This watch has passed eight rigorous tests set by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS) and has received Master Chronometer certification. | |
