OMEGA 140.93.39.21.99.001 NEW CONSTELLATION OBSERVATORY 39.4 mm, platinum‑gold on alli
Product Overview
The OMEGA Observatory medallion commemorates Omega's decisive moment in the pursuit of precision. This model, made of polished and brushed 950 platinum gold with a diameter of 39.4mm, features a design with chamfered "dog-leg" lugs and a bezel with clear-cut facets. It is paired with a dark gray leather strap that includes a polished buckle adorned with gold scale lines. The "Pie Pan" dial, reminiscent of the "Constellation" introduced in 1952, is adorned with the Omega logo and the star of "Constellation," featuring a dodecagonal facet. The dial, coated with yellow-toned platinum PVD, has a sunburst finish in the center and is engraved with eight matte grooves created by hand with guilloché. The newly designed kite-shaped indexes are polished with diamonds, harmonizing with the kite-shaped hands made of 18K white gold, also polished with diamonds and coated in 950 platinum gold PVD. It is powered by the OMEGA Caliber 8915, the world's first two-hand watch certified as a Master Chronometer by METAS. The sapphire crystal case back reveals the movement and an 18K Sedna™ gold rotor with a skeleton structure, featuring a laser-engraved medallion of the "Constellation" observatory in 18K white gold. The sky is represented by dark blue aventurine glass, while the observatory dome is depicted in white opal color. It comes in a special marquetry box designed with the "Constellation" observatory.
