Since partnering with ICE-SAR, Luminox has developed a timepiece specialized for exploration and rescue missions that operates in harsh environments, providing excellent visibility even in poor conditions like blizzards. The new ICE-SAR ARCTIC 1050 SERIES features a pulse meter designed to allow quick measurement of heart rate, a critical factor in rescue operations, using a long second hand and an inner ring index on the dial that eliminates the need for a 60-second wait. The case and bezel are made from CARBONOX, which offers lightweight strength and specifications suitable for rescue missions, including shock resistance and 200m water resistance. For visibility in the dark, the LLT employs a combination of green and orange, which provides high visibility on land, while the indices and '6' and '12' are treated with Super-LumiNova to enhance visibility in darkness.
