Featuring an organic exterior form combining edgy parts, a newly developed shock release needle with two large holes as a prominent feature, and innovative ideas that defy conventional wisdom, embodying G-SHOCK's identity of seeking strength through challenges. The center case protecting the module is covered by exterior parts with a bezel-band integrated structure. By placing large three-dimensional indexes on the glass surface, a bumper role to mitigate impacts is achieved. While maintaining G-SHOCK's unique shock resistance, a powerful and distinctive exterior design is realized. A magnetic holding structure was developed to attach the shock release needle (minute hand) without fixing it to the shaft, allowing it to deflect impacts by being magnetically secured. This structure enables larger needles and increased design flexibility. (※Due to the magnetic securing structure, the minute hand may sway due to impacts or vibrations. Additionally, immediately after impact or exposure to strong magnetic fields, the minute hand may temporarily shift but will return to the correct position within a few minutes.) The watch features a combination analog-digital face with a dial featuring openwork technique and a full-screen LCD layer structure. It is finished with a unique design, including an unconventional hour and minute hand layout. Available in four colors: metallic silver, blue-purple, neon yellow, and the classic G-SHOCK black. This model achieves a battery life of approximately 10 years while incorporating functions such as alarms and lights. | |
