Product Highlights
The base model PRX-8000, the only person in Japan to conquer the towering 14 peaks of 8000m around the world, incorporates advice from PRO TREK Ambassador Mr. Higashiyama Takeuchi. In harsh conditions during an 8000m peak ascent, time and measurement values are crucial information, hence the black dial features large white indexes and hands for easy visibility. Other markings are deliberately subtle in color and placement to make it easy to read the time and LCD measurement data. To ensure easy time recognition even in low oxygen or bad weather conditions, distinctive features are added to the 12 o'clock index shape and arrows are engraved at the band attachment point. Additionally, with enlarged carbon material hands, different shapes, and double luminescent treatment on the indexes, time can be easily recognized at night, supporting activities in extreme conditions. The band features a double-lock one-push three-fold clasp with an adjust mechanism for easy length adjustment of up to approximately 6mm without the need for special tools. The joint mechanism connecting the band and case has been enhanced for easy attachment and removal. The watch is equipped with scratch-resistant and highly visible sapphire glass for a luxurious feel. It also features the Triple Sensor Ver.3, which significantly improves measurement accuracy and intervals, along with Multi-Band 6 for receiving signals from 6 stations worldwide, Tough Solar technology, and an atmospheric pressure trend alarm to alert you to significant changes.

This model features DLC hardening treatment on the bezel, band, crown, buttons, and case back to enhance wear resistance. Titanium material is used for key metal parts (outer bezel, band, case back) to achieve a balance of strength and lightness.
