Breitling AVI 1953 RB0920131B1X1 Watch Japan Official
Product Overview
In the 1950s, the original Co-Pilot Ref. 765 AVI gained immense popularity, second only to Breitling's other icon, the Navitimer. With its bold design, engraved rotating bezel, and highly legible dial, the 765 AVI quickly became the perfect companion to the Navitimer as a robust and reliable pilot watch. Today, the AVI 1953 Edition elevates the original design of the Co-Pilot Ref. 765 AVI from 1953 to a new level of luxury. The all-black dial, protected by a domed Hesalite crystal, features the same Arabic numerals as the original Co-Pilot. It includes tone-on-tone small seconds, a 15-minute totalizer, and a 12-hour totalizer. The color of the hand-applied Super-LumiNova has been carefully selected to replicate the hue of the luminous material in the original model, adding a vintage feel to the AVI 1953 Edition. The AVI 1953 Edition boasts a 41mm 18K red gold case with a water resistance of 3 atmospheres (30 meters). It is powered by Breitling's in-house Caliber B09, a hand-wound COSC-certified movement based on the famous Breitling Caliber 01. A vintage-style brown leather strap with an 18K red gold pin buckle completes the watch. Each timepiece is engraved with "ONE OF 253," indicating its status as part of a limited edition of 253 pieces.
